In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Copy of the proceedings of the Court Martial of Captain David Greenhill held on 16th November 1693 aboard the RESOLUTION in the Medway at which seventeen ship's captains were present. Greenhill had called at the Aran Islands off the Irish Coast, had lowered a boat and had left his ship, whereupon she was taken by the French. He is sentenced to a fine of a year's wages and to sail during the summer to come as a Volunteer. The proceeds of the fine are to be paid into the Chatham Chest. Document unsigned. N.d.
