In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

In pursuance of her Majesty's pleasure, signified to this Board by the Duke of Shrewsbury, Principal Secretary of State we direct you to imprest to Sir Cloudesley Shovell, Vice Admiral of the Red, five hundred pounds, to enable him to reward such Officers and other Men as shall be observed by him and Muster Masters to distinguish themselves in the service against Dunkirk.
