In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Requiring action in despatching the victuals urgently needed for sending to the Straits for Admiral Russell's fleet and instructing that Mr Shortess, Assistant to the Master Shipwright at Chatham, be sent to the Straits to attend the refitting of the fleet in preference to Mr Allen at Portsmouth. He is to travel with Commander Wilsham and the other officers.
