In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Captain Ward has been unable to collect his wages for service in the CAMBRIDGE due to having been unable to pass the accounts for the money impressed to him for manning his ship. However, on his producing an affidavit to the effect that the money impressed to him was actually used in manning his ship, he is to be paid his wages.
