Autobiography by Frank Smith entitled 'The Memoirs of My Life', covering his schooldays and many different jobs, including his employment in the Grimsby fishing fleet and on merchant vessels in the period circa 1885-1895. Written in pencil on loose sheets at Looe in Cornwall in 1921 while he was recuperating from illness.
