The concise Pepys : with an introduction by Stuart Sim

This edition, the Braybrooke edition of Samuel Pepys's diary, constitutes roughly a quarter of the complete work. It covers the main events of Pepys's life, i.e. the Restoration, the Plague, the Great Fire of London, and the Dutch wars. The first entry is from January 1659/60 and final one from May 1669. The preface to the Braybrooke edition is included.
