Atlas of America : our nation in maps, facts, and pictures.

This atlas is divided into two main parts. The first contains an overview of America and its people including sections on climate, transportation, resources, demographic patterns and biographies of notable men and women. There is a series of maps, pictures and texts which summarize America's history. The second part contains maps of the fifty states and details of their history and characteristics. There are over 500 colour photographs, a general index and a geographical index.
