Tiverton (1883)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the general cargo steamship Tiverton (1883) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an auxiliary 2 masted topsail schooner rig with four yards on the foremast. The Watkins paddle tug Scotia (1874) is at anchor on the right and Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. Negatives numbers G1505 and G1710 were taken on the same occasion.
