Victory (1882)
A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo ship Victory (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has four yards on her foremast and is flying the blue peter. The hull abreast her forward welldeck has been repainted in a darker colour than the rest of the ship. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is drawn up on the Tilbury shore in the background.
