'Sir John Elwill's cutter, The Englefield, abt. 40 tons'
Drawing, inscribed as title, top right. This is a good drawing of an 18th-century private yacht. Sir John Elwill is likely to be the 4th baronet (son of Edward, the 3rd). He was MP for Guldford from 1747 to 1768 and died without male issue on 1 March 1778, when the barontecy became extinct.
