Wistow Hall (1878)
A whole plate negative. A starboard broadside view of the general cargo steamship Wistow Hall (1878) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and is flying the blue peter. She is in the British India S N Company livery or something very similar. The steam launch Mantis (1884) is at anchor in the left foreground with a Gravesend bawley beyond her. Tilbury Fort is in the background. Negatives numbers G1963, G1971, G1998 and G2007 were taken on the same occasion.
