A view along Purfleet Quay looking towards Custom House at King's Lynn with King Street Bridge and Purfleet Place on the right. The steam barge Nancy (fl.1981), viewed from the stern, is afloat in Purfleet river. The tide is very low so a number of small wooden boats are aground on the mud along the left bank.
