The 'Egmont', 'Princess Charlotte', 'Bellerophon' and 'Asia' in ordinary in Portsmouth Harbour, 13 October 1825
A pencil study of four ships as hulks in ordinary in Portsmouth Harbour, seen from astern. The sketch is inscribed along the top ' Bellerophon - 84 guns' over the one with standing lower masts, and then after a gap 'in Portsmouth harbour October 13th 1825. Below this to the right 'Asia 84 guns' is above the right-hand ship, identifying that. To the left 'Egmont 74 guns' identified a very faint hull outline at far left with 'Princess Charlotte 110 guns' above for an also faint one, to left of 'Bellerophon'.
