An unsharp starboard bow view of the light cruiser HMS Carysfort (1914) under way at Milford Haven, Pembroke. The photograph was taken from the light cruiser HMS Aurora, whose stern wake can be seen in the photograph.
HMS Aurora left Harwich on 14 June 1915 and arrived at Milford Haven by 4pm on 15 June where she proceeded to refuel. She left Milford Haven for Portishead on 21 June, arriving back again the next day. Aurora finally left Milford Haven for Devonport on 25 June. [Ship's log, TNA ADM 53/34495]
