An unsharp starboard view, just aft of the broadside, of the light cruiser HMS Carysfort (1914) under way at Milford Haven, Pembroke. An unidentified destroyer can be seen off her port bow. The photograph was taken from the light cruiser HMS Aurora.
HMS Aurora left Harwich on 14 June 1915 and arrived at Milford Haven by 4pm on 15 June where she proceeded to refuel. She left Milford Haven for Portishead on 21 June, arriving back again the next day. Aurora finally left Milford Haven for Devonport on 25 June. [Ship's log, TNA ADM 53/34495]
There are scratches along the top of the negative.
