Third in a three-part series of watercolours, in imitation of prints with handwritten inscriptions, illustrating the recovery of the ‘Marquis of Anglesea’ after capsizing in heavy seas. The present image shows the vessel wrightened with minimal damage. A total of ten crewmen are present, most of whom are labouring near the bow.
