Jason (1892)

A 12x10 negative. A starboard broadside view of the Royal Navy torpedo gunboat Jason (1892) moored in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has been reboilered and is serving as the seagoing training ship for the Gravesend Division of the Royal Naval Reserve. Five uniformed men are on parade on the quarterdeck. The passenger ferry Tilbury (1883) is at the Tilbury ferry pontoon in the right background and the Tilbury Hotel is in the centre background.
