Luise (1872)
A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the German Navy corvette Luise (1872) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an auxiliary ship rig and her fore and main topgallants and her mizzen course and topsail yards have been sent down. She has canvas windsail ventilators rigged by the mainmast. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G2069 and G2103 were taken on the same occasion.
