House flag, Cuban Steamship Co Ltd
The house flag of E. Bigland and Co, London (Cuban Steamship Co Ltd). The flag is made of wool bunting, machine sewn with a linen hoist. A rope and wooden toggle is attached. Used on the SS 'Cayo Bonito' 1901.
A swallow-tailed flag divided horizontally red over yellow. In the middle of the red half the letter 'C' in black. In the middle of the yellow half the letter 'L' in black.
