A port side view, just off stern, of the destroyer HMS Sharpshooter (1917) in dry dock at Harwich. The photograph shows the stern propped up because of the damage to the port quarter caused by a mine on 27 September in the North Sea. Her Pendent number F57 is clearly painted on her stern. The photograph was taken from a boat.
