The damaged destroyer HMS Thisbe (1917) under tow at Harwich

A port bow view of the destroyer HMS Thisbe (1917) being towed into the floating dock at Harwich after striking two mines aft on 22 September. The wall of the dock can be seen on the left of the photograph. She was towed in by the resuce tug Vanquisher (1899). Thisbe's Pendent number F77 can be seen on her bow just forward of the bridge.
