The minesweeper HMS Totnes (1916) entering the floating dock with heavy damage to her bows

A starboard bow view of the paddle minesweeper HMS Totnes (1916) entering the floating dock at Harwich after hitting a mine causing significant damage to her bow. The photograph shows the collapsed forecastle deck after the bows has been blown apart.

Totnes was mined on 29 December 1916 off Orfordness and towed to Harwich before being repaired at Deptford.
