Carlisle Castle (1868)

A whole plate negative. A port broadside view of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Carlisle Castle (1868) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, double topgallants on the fore and main with single topgallant on the mizzen and single royals. She has fidded royal masts and also has painted ports. She is flying the blue peter and an unidentified steam lighter is alongside. Tilbury is in the background.
