She is rigged with double topsails on the fore and main, single topsail on the mizzen, single topgallants and single royals and she has painted ports. A swim headed, budget sterned, stumpy spritsail rigged barge is alongside amidships. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore in the right background. Negatives numbers G1545 and G1783 were taken on the same occasion.
