Thomas Stephens (1869)
A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Thomas Stephens (1869) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, double topgallants and royals and she is flying her ensign and a pilot flag from the signal haliards on the mizzen gaff and her houseflag from the manmast top. Tilbury Fort is in the background. Negatives numbers G2298 and G2299 were taken on the same occasion.
