Berthed outboard of her is the stumpy spritsail barge Amy Cecilia (1877). Both of these barges are owned by William Fletcher of Bycliffs, Gravesend. The foreshore is covered in ice and Gravesend Reach, River Thames is almost frozen over. The photographer is looking upstream and Tilbury Ness light is in the background. A vertical format image.
