She is drifting downwind on the port tack and is to port of the barge Satanita (1897) which is similarly drifting in the light winds. The Giralda (1897) won the Champion topsail class in a time of 5 hours 23 minutes and 20 seconds. The Satanita (1897) was seventh some 18 minutes behind the Giralda (1897).
