Giralda (1897)
A half plate negative. A slightly distant port quarter view of the general cargo spritsail rigged barge Giralda (1897) under sail during the Thames Barge Match. She is on the starboard tack and her crew are in the their white racing trousers. The Giralda (1897) won the Champion Topsail class in a time of 5 hours 23 minutes and 20 seconds.
