Queen Alexandra (1902)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port bow view, taken from very fine off the bow, of the spritsail barge Queen Alexandra (1902) under sail in Gravesend Reach, River Thames, during the running of the 1902 Thames Barge Match. She has her race number 6 flag on her forestay and is on the port tack. A well laden stumpy barge is astern of her. A vertical format image. Tilbury is in the background.
