Sirdar (1898)
A half plate negative. A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the spritsail barge Sirdar (1898) under sail racing in the Thames estuary during the Medway Barge Match. She is on the starboard tack and her white race number flag in on her foretopmast stay. A laden stumpy barge is in the background. A vertical format image.
