Cecil Road School, Gravesend, Kent
A 12x10 negative. The rear or west elevation of Cecil Road School looking across the playground showing the two entrances for girls. The school was formally opened by the mayor, Alderman H E Davis, in June 1909 and is made up of two buildings. In the larger there was accommodation for 304 boys and on the first floor a similar number of girls. The smaller building (not in the picture) accommodates 200 infants.
