Planisphere
Planisphere. The projection is geocentric and equidistant from the South Pole to North 50 degrees. Only the principle stars, connected by lines, are included. On the border and on the back, there is a magnitude table which is labelled 'Magnitudes [1-5]'. The Milky Way is drawn but not labelled. 18 stars and two star groups are named. Ptolemaic constellations ('ARGO' is not divided) below declination North 50 degrees and four non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn. One of the 12 southern constellations of Plancius is drawn as well as six of Hevelius and six of Lacaille.
