The passenger/cargo liner Victoria (1887) and tug Renown (1863)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the passenger/cargo liner Victoria (1887) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore and main masts. The paddle tug Renown (1863), also seen from her starboard beam, is alongside. Tilbury is in the background. The original glass plate negative has been discarded as the emulsion peeled off but a 12x10 photographic print, produced in the 1950s prior to the damage to the negative, is available for scanning.
