The passenger/cargo liner Doric (1883)

A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Doric (1883) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has yards on her fore and main masts. The passenger steam launch Maude (1886) is in the foreground. Tilbury is in the background. The negative is broken and has been discarded but a 12x10 photographic print produced in the 1950s before the negative was damaged is available for scanning.
