A port broadside view of the Cunard Line cruise ship Aquitania (1914) anchored at Naples, Italy.
A port very near broadside view, taken from only just aft of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Aquitania (1914) anchored and moored at Naples with stern lines possibly going ashore. A cluster of small steam vessels are off her port side. The bows of the Italian Navy minesweeper RD57 (1923) and a training ship hulk (possibly the Italian Navy corvette Flavio Gioia (1883)) can be seen on the right of the image, suggesting they are moored stern-to. A steam launch is approaching the photographer's boat in the foreground. Mount Vesuvius can be seen in the background.
