A quarter plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from anly just ahead of the beam, of the cable ship Kangaroo (1853) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is flying the blue peter. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print produced from whole plate negative number G2037.
