A quarter plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged passenger/cargo vessel May Queen (1869) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with single topsails, topgallants and royals and has two canvas windsail ventilators rigged. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould whole plate negative number G2284.
