Ormuz (1886)

A quarter plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Ormuz (1886) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on each of her fore and main masts and awnings are rigged amidships and aft. She is flying the blue peter. The steam passenger launch Maude (1886) is at anchor in the foreground. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould mounted photographic print made from a negative that has not survived. The negative is damaged by damp of the right side.
