Peninsular (1888)

A quarter plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Peninsular (1888) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and is lightly laden. Her aft accommodation ladder is deployed. Tilbury is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould mounted photographic print made from a negative which has not survived.
