Scotia (1862)
A quarter plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the cable ship Scotia (1862) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has double topsails on both masts. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1497, G1550, G1943 and G2333 were taken on the same occasion. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print made from the whole plate negative number G2333.
