Shannon (1862)

A quarter plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Shannon (1862) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with fore and main double topsails, single mizzen topsail, single topgallants and royals and has painted ports. Tilbury Fort is in the background. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print made from whole plate negative number G2277. The bottom right corner of the negative is broken off and missing.
