A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted barque rigged vessel True Briton (1861) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails and single topgallants and has 12 painted ports. She is flying the blue peter and her houseflag. Tilbury is in the background. This negative is not properly in focus. A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print made from the whole plate negative G1773.
