Rothesay (1957)
A whole plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. In the Main Signal Office on the port side of 2 deck between the Engineer Officer's cabin and the Amplifier Compartment. The photographer is looking to port and from the doorway showing the switchboard operator's position with two speaking tubes and two telephones. A safe with pigeon holes above is on the right and book racks are in the corner.
