Rothesay (1957)

A whole plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. In the crew's galley on the starboard side of 2 deck between the wardroom and the preparing space. The photographer is looking to starboard and on the left is one of two 20 gallon boiling pans. A stainless steel bench is in the centre of the picture with the control panel for the deep fryer above it. On the right is the no. 1 electric range with the deep fryer next to it.
