Rothesay (1957)

A whole plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. Looking to starboard and very slightly forward from the aft lobby through the open hatch of the servery on the starboard side of 2 deck aft of the funnel uptakes. The bain marie is in the foreground and on the left are plate racks over a serving cupboard which has a slicing machine on the end. On the right is a stainless steel unit containing soup pails on the bottom and labelled for cold sweets on the top. The arched opening leads into the preparing space in which the sink unit and potato peeler can be seen.
