Rothesay (1957)
A whole plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. The conversion machinery room between stations 31 and 35½ on the starboard side of 3 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from near the doorway. On the deck in the left foreground are two dual output motor generators with a director metadyne next to them and a small motor generator beyond that. On the starboard side bulkhead (on the right) are recitifier units and on the forward bulkhead are various control boxes including one for the Mark 6 director.
