Rothesay (1957)

A whole plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. In the Asdic instrument compartment between stations 12½ and 16 on 3 deck. The photographer is said to be looking forward. Two Admiralty pattern standard electrical cabinets are on the right with the right one being cabinet no. 6. A label above these cabinets reads'Asdic Type 170B', which is a pencil beam attack sonar. High and low level wooden cupboards are to the left of these cabinets.
