Yarmouth (1959) as fitted after refit
A 2¾ x 2¼ film negative. On board the Type 12 frigate Yarmouth (1959) alongside the South-West Wall in Portsmouth Dockyard. Inside the Guided Weapons Systems power room on the starboard side of 1 deck between 47½ and 52 stations. The photographer is looking forward. In the foreground is a wooden bench with a Westinghouse launcher rectifier unit on the right. Above the bench are two supply boxes labelled GWS 20 Recording and above these is a GWS 20/21/22 Recording Terminals Joystick Demands Attenuation Control & Filter Unit. On the right is a 440 volt Launcher Transformer unit and on the deck by the door is the photographer's equipment bag.
