Armillary sphere stand
Armillary sphere stand. The meridian ring fits into a wooden stand with four quarter circles, which are covered in paper and latitudes for important cities. The paper horizon ring is copper engraved and has a number of scales, including the Gregorian calendar and the zodiac. The rings are raised on an ebonised baluster turned stand.
