Sledge formed of four snow shoes

Scale: 1:4. An office copy of a plan showing a side view and plan with sections through A and B for a snow shoe formed sledge for use on the British Arctic Expedition, 1875-6. The sledge was made up of four thin snow shoes (small skis) lashed together to create a sledge.
